Highly Immersive Programme. (HIP)
HIP is aimed to involve and immerse the pupils in an English-rich environment to improve pupil's English proficiency. HIP is introduced under the Upholding Bahasa Malaysia and Strengthening the English Language （MBMMBI） policy which was introduced in 1999. Under the HIP pupils are given more exposure to English without increasing the teaching hours. HIP is based on a whole school approach that ropes in the school heads, teachers, pupils, parents and the community.
This programme is carried out to make the schooling environment more conducive for pupils to practice English outside of a classroom setting. It is also to enhance pupils' confidence towards learning English andcommunicating in English through various fun and exciting activities.
